NIGEL WELLER RECOGNISED AS SPECIALIST ANIMAL WELFARE SOLICITOR.

The firm are pleased to share news with you regarding a recent article published in the The Times Newspaper on the 28th December 2018.

The article written by Dominic Kennedy of The Times recognised Nigel Weller as a specialist solicitor in Animal Welfare Law and went on to comment on the often 'flawed test' used by the RSPCA in cruelty cases when dealing with the body condition of animals.

RSPCA actions deemed unlawful by District Judge leading to full acquittal for our client.

We wish to share with you the good news of a recent successful defence of our client Mr. S.

Alex Weller represented the client in a four day trial at Birmingham Magistrates Court.

Mr S was accused of a number of charges under both Section 4 (causing unnecessary suffering) and Section 9 (failing to meet the needs of animals).

The District Judge when delivering his verdict dismissed all the evidence against our client due to the unlawful way in which it had been obtained after the carefully crafted legal submissions presented by Alex Weller of this firm.

Mr S. was naturally delighted with the outcome of the case and being reunited with his beloved dogs.
