NIGEL WELLER

Nigel is the supervisor of Nigel Weller and Co Solicitors. 

​

Nigel is one of the country's leading Animal Welfare Solicitors. He has been practicing as a defence solicitor and advocate for over 45 years. He has specialised in all aspects of defending members of the public being prosecuted by the RSPCA for over 25 years and has become one of the country's leading legal minds on Animal Welfare Law.

 

Nigel covers all aspects of criminal litigation from advise at the Police Station and Interviews to conducting trials in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and High Court.

Nigel always takes a robust approach to representing clients in Court. This is a necessary approach when dealing with prosecutions under Animal Welfare Law.

Alex Qualified as a Solicitor in 2014, and has worked closely with Nigel Weller to learn the specialist nature of Animal Welfare Law. 

​

Alex operates in the Magistrates Court and will have conduct of all preliminary hearings and conduct of trials in the Magistrates Court. 

​

Through his experience of trials in the Magistrates Alex has developed a high level of advocacy and will be with you at every step of the proceedings brought against you to assist with all aspects and to answer any questions that you may have. 

​

Alex will travel to help assist you with any interviews that the RSPCA or other prosecutors may wish to have conduct with you.

Pam has worked closely with Nigel Weller and Co. for over 20 years. 

​

Pam will often be your first point of contact with the firm. She is a very experience legal secretary and works closely with Nigel and Alex.
