We are licensed by the Legal Services Commission to represent clients on Legal Aid. That means that our fees will be paid by the court, not by you.
However, not everyone is entitled to Legal Aid, so if you are being accused by the RSPCA it is vital to speak to us as soon as possible.
If your income is above a certain level (£12,475 per year at the time of writing, in 2013) your application for Legal Aid will be "means tested", which means that you will need to fill in some forms about your income. We can send you those forms and explain the process for you. The court will then decide whether you have to pay. If your income is below that level, or if you are on benefits, you will normally be entitled to Legal Aid.
Call us today and we will send Legal Aid application forms to you to fill in. You can read more about claiming Legal Aid here.
If you are not eligible for Legal Aid, we will explain our fees.
There is no charge for our initial discussion about your case over the telephone.
